The state of inner peace is sought by many and found by few. Why is that? Much of the concept of inner peace is a construct of a rational mind rather than an experience beyond the mental condition. The goal of the meditation on peace is to have an actual experience, a felt sense of what peace really is. Peace is not the cessation of activity – it is the ability to maintain a connection with stillness even while in the active state. When this inner peace is experienced, even for a short moment, it becomes easier to access repeatedly.
